AUV BELONA
AUV Belona – autonomous underwater vehicle with a modular design, is a perfect survey platform for specialist hydrographic equipment. Modules can be selected depending on the needs of the mission, but we distinguish sections necessary for the vehicle to operate – critical, and additional sections – measurement. AUVs are used for surveing on large areas, thanks to the swarm functionality (3 vehicles moving in formation) collecting measurement data from larger waters takes less time and consumes fewer resources.

Critical modules:
- central: USBL modem, side-scan sonar, communication (GPS, Iridium, Wi-Fi, radio)
- propulsion: thrusters, fins, towed equipment mounting
- battery

- corrective rudders

- nose: anti-collision sonar, altimeter, optional magnetometer.
Measurement modules:
- multibeam sonar
- side-scan sonar with bathymetry
- water quality measurement
- video (imaging): camera, lasers for underwater dimensioning
- data acquisition and storage.
